Brickhouse Cottages offers luxurious accessible breaks in their 12 beautiful ‘home-from-home’ cottages set by a private fishing lake. The cottages vary in size, from two to five bedrooms, and were purpose built in 2013 to provide holiday accommodation for families, friends and carers in the tranquil surroundings of Hambleton, yet only a short distance from the bright lights of Blackpool – or the quieter coastal towns of Cleveleys, Lytham and St Annes.

Brickhouse Cottages is a family business that has accessibility at the heart of everything they do, having been inspired by their own personal experience. With amenities such as an on-site restaurant, private hydrotherapy pool and sensory room. As well as accessible hot tubs in nine of the cottages, and accessible fishing pegs on the private lake, it is easy to relax and unwind at Brickhouse Cottages, without having to over-plan what you need for your holiday.

Each cottage is wheelchair friendly with level access throughout the ground floor and garden areas, with at least one fully accessible bedroom with ceiling track hoist and a wheel in wetroom. They provide a variety of additional outstanding accessible facilities, including profile beds, elephant feet for sofas, lowered kitchen counters and shower commode chairs or trollies, depending on your needs.

The stylish self-catering holiday cottages have light open plan living areas, bespoke kitchens, solid oak furniture, sumptuous corner settees and of course free wifi.

Six of the cottages are dog friendly, with assistance dogs allowed in all cottages and there is a recreation area and sensory walk coming soon.
