Competition details:

Have you ever sat at the pub, looked into the effervescent golden depths of your pint, and thought ‘I could make this?’ Well, you’re in luck – with this Bottle Topped beer kit, you can.

Containing grains, hops and brewers yeast, plus a brew bag, fermenter and tap, bottling wand and airlock, this kit is genuinely like a miniature brewery in a box. Easy-to-follow instructions and visual guidelines make it a seamless process, too.

Born from a set of craft beer fans who wanted to try their hand at the process themselves, the team behind Bottle Topped quickly realised that brewing was daunting for newbies. From big-batch concentrates that left them with 50 mediocre beers, to tricky 12-step, all-grain recipes that made brewing a rocket-science experiment, their failed attempts showed them there was a need for a kit that would help keen brewers whip up an IPA in the comfort of their kitchen.

Whether you’re a pale ale fiend on a sunny day, or love a deep, smooth stout, there are six kits to choose from, so you can get nine pints of your favourite beer. Whether you’re keeping it to one side to impress dinner party guests, or bottling it up to take on picnics – these kits will either have you investing in your own mash tun, or give you renewed respect for your local craft brewery. Either way, it’s a win win.
