Competition details:

For more than half a century, Santa Cruz Skateboards has occupied hallowed ground in boardsports culture. Founded in 1973, the Californian brand didn’t just ride the wave – it helped shape it, pairing irreverent, eye-popping graphics with hardware that became shorthand for a certain kind of West Coast attitude.

Those graphics remain among the most recognisable in skate history: bold, subversive and instantly collectible. From skateparks to shorelines, Santa Cruz has long operated as a cultural lodestar – less a logo, more a signal.

Spring 2026 sees the label return with a fresh drop that feels both archival and forward-facing at the same time. Think statement tees, lightweight layers and reworked denim silhouettes cut for daily wear, all delivered in punchy seasonal hues that refuse to fade quietly into the background.

Leading the release is new team artwork, including the next evolution of Erick Winkowski’s cult 8Ballr character from his Vertigo deck, alongside the introduction of Fabiana Delfino’s Flower Guy into the men’s line for the first time.

Graphic purists will also appreciate a previously unreleased Natas panther sketch by Jim Phillips, complemented by a guest collaboration with LA-based tattoo artist Thomas Fernandez – proof that Santa Cruz still knows exactly where skate culture thrives.
