Simon Rogan’s three-Michelin-starred and Michelin-green-starred L’Enclume is located in the Lake District village of Cartmel, housed within a former 13th-century blacksmith’s workshop.

Overseen by Simon Rogan, executive chef Paul Burgalières, and head chef Alex Rothnie, the restaurant’s menu is a celebration of hyper-local, seasonal ingredients grown just minutes away at Simon Rogan’s Our Farm. Here, the team continually refines its growing practices in response to the land, the soil, and the changing rhythms of the seasons.

The seasonal lunch menu is available from Wednesday to Friday during the peak growing season (April to October) and Fridays only the rest of the year (November to April). This shorter, lighter option is another way to experience the restaurant’s farm-led approach.

As one of only ten restaurants in the UK with three Michelin stars, L’Enclume was awarded joint first place in La Liste’s ranking of the World’s Best Restaurants in both 2024 and 2025, becoming the first British restaurant to receive this honour.
